The Rose Distillery is housed in a converted West Cork stone cottage.
The thick stone walls, high vaulted ceiling and bank of earth in which it sits help to keep the distillery at an even temp all year, perfect for distilling and storing essential oils and floral waters. The harvesting starts in May each year and for Rosa damascena lasts only 3 weeks. The roses are distilled within hours of being picked. Only the premi decant is collected as this captures the top notes of the rose.
